My favorite golfing cigars
I have to admit that I'm on a bit of a dark maduro kick lately. I've been enjoying 5 Vegas Series "A"s, CAO Brazil Gols, and some Hoyo de Monterreys.
All great sticks and I can't imagine a round right now without one of those staples in my hand. What about you? What are some of your golfing favorites? |

Romeo y Julieta's are my stick of choice right now with a Padron or Perdomo mixed in. Wife is not a fan of this becoming a habit.

Dude, tell the wife that cigars and golf are like ham and burger, or kool-aid and sugar, or cereal and milk. They just go together. Get over it...

Anything by La Flor Dominicana or Partagas. I can't get enough of the LFD Triple Liguero right now. Strong cigar - it will knock you on your ass if you're not used to smoking the big sticks!

Had a Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur yesterday and I've forgotten how much I like that stick. Will likely pick up a few of them for my next golf outing on Monday. Affordable, great draw and a really good smoke.

No, your right. It's a double ligero. I was thinking about the Camacho Triple Maduro and the LFD Double Ligero. That triple maduro is great, too. A little hard to find here lately, though.

RE: My favorite golfing cigars
I had an lfd double ligero for a quick lunch break stogie last year at a cigar shop close to my office. Let me just say that I was NOT prepared for the punch that little guy packed. I literally started sweating and had a very quesy stomach for about an hour. Not a lunch time smoke! Consider yourself warned...

Swisher Sweets all the way! J/K. I'm not a cigar aficionado like you guys but really enjoy a fine cigar. The ones I know I like are Romeo y Julieta and Perdomo.

RE: My favorite golfing cigars
I try several different ones, but I always come back to Partagas black label as my favorite. The guy at the store did tell me to try a Montecristo Reserva Negra last week. That baby had some punch to it. If you like milder smokes I'd stay away from it though. If you like the CAO's you should try the Crillio. As far as drinks go, a decent glass of brandy is always nice. I think I have some E&J VSOP, ha the cheap stuff but its ok for me
